Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman has handed veteran midfielder Paul Cook a player-coach role for next season.
The move is part of the Reds' plans to move to full-time status next season, a decision that will see a number of players leaving the club.
Coleman has spoken to virtually all of his squad about their futures and six players have already been released.
Veteran duo Gordon Armstrong and John Durnin head the list of players leaving the Interlink Express Stadium, while Dean Calcutt, Jerome Fitzgerald, Andy Gouck and Kieran Killackey have also been told they have no future with the club.
