Coleman starts to strengthen

Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman has signed Preston North End's teenage striker Chris McGrail on a one-month work experience loan deal. The 17-year-old has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Championship side, but was an unused substitute in this month's FA Cup third round win against Sunderland. Meanwhile, young defender Rikki Bains has opted to leave the club. The 18-year-old joined Stanley from Coventry City four months ago and made four appearances for the League Two club. Bains has rejected the offer of non-contract terms at the club after his initial deal came to an end.
