Coleman opts to keep Charnock

Peterborough United have allowed defender Kieran Charnock to extend his stay with Accrington Stanley until January.

Charnock has been a regular John Coleman's side since joining the League Two club last month.

The 24-year-old has made seven appearances for the Reds and played in both the recent FA Cup ties against Tranmere Rovers.

The former Northwich Victoria defender moved to London Road in the summer of 2007 but has made only 16 starts for The Posh.
