Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman would not be unhappy if veteran striker Paul Mullin stayed at the club.
The 35-year-old, who ended last season on loan at Bradford City, is currently on the transfer list.
However, Coleman said: "Paul's wages take up a chunk of our budget but, if he stays, it isn't a problem.
"Everyone knows what Paul is and he's still got a lot to offer. He's come back in great shape and is 100 per cent committed.
"We have two strikers at the club in Paul and Michael Symes now and I think we need another two strikers. Most teams have four to freshen things up and we want to mix and match.
"Paul's never had someone breathing down his neck and I think Michael will do this as they're both target players."
