Coleman boosts Reds squad

Accrington Stanley have boosted their strikeforce with the loan signings of Darlington's Gregg Blundell and Wigan Athletic youngster Craig Mahon.

Blundell, 31, has slipped down the pecking order with the Quakers and has mainly been restricted to appearances as a substitute this season.

The pacy frontman joined Darlo in January 2007, having previously enjoyed spells with Chester City, Doncaster Rovers and Northwich Victoria.

Blundell has scored just 11 goals in 89 appearances for his parent club, although nearly half of his appearances have come as a replacement.

Nineteen-year-old Mahon has yet to feature in the first team for the Latics and is set to make his senior debut during his time with Stanley.
