Cavanagh forced to have op

Accrington Stanley captain Peter Cavanagh should return to action before Christmas after having a hernia operation on Wednesday.
It is expected that Cavanagh will be forced to spend up four weeks on the sidelines as he recuperates from the surgery.
The defender will undergo a short period of rehabilitation at Lilleshall before returning to the club's medical staff.
The 26-year-old was Accrington's youngest ever captain when he joined the club from Liverpool in 2001 and he has gone on to make more than 200 appearances for Stanley.
