Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman has threatened to make wholesale changes to his side after they surrendered a two-goal lead to lose against Oldham Athletic in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
The League Two club had raced into a healthy first-half lead after Roscoe D'Sane opened the scoring and Andy Proctor added a penalty at the Fraser Eagle Stadium on Tuesday.
But three second-half strikes from the visitors put them into the hat for the second round and left Coleman in highly-critical mood.
"We defended badly and other people will have to come in. The game should have been dead and buried when we were 2-0 up," he fumed.
"The only pleasing part was that we have scored two goals and we have ended our goal hoodoo.
"But the defending was not good enough and I blame the back five."
