Stanley finished 16th last season and a lack of financial muscle has prevented Coleman from adding as many new faces to his squad as he would have liked. The Accrington boss hopes his side can improve on last season, but admits retaining their Football League status is his primary objective. He told Press Association Sport: "There is a good spirit in the squad, the lads have worked hard in pre-season and we hope to make a positive start. "We would like to improve on last season's performance, but survival has to be our main aim."
