Stanley seek to strengthen squad

Stanley were foiled in their attempts to bring in a Premier League defender a fortnight ago as a delay to their payment of an unpaid tax bill to HM Revenue and Customs meant the Football League reinstated their ban on the club.[LNB]The latest monthly instalment of £30,000 has now cleared, though, meaning manager John Coleman could dip into the loan market to bolster his squad.[LNB]The Reds have slipped out of the League Two play-off places after winning just one of their last seven outings and the boss could add new faces to his side for Saturday's trip to Underhill.[LNB]"The embargo has been lifted now," assistant manager Jimmy Bell told the Lancashire Telegraph.[LNB]"We could bring someone in before Saturday. We have been looking at a defender but we are looking at other areas too."[LNB][LNB]
