Stanley secure swoop for Joyce
The 22-year-old started his career at Wigan, making one first-team appearance in an FA Cup replay at Leeds.
He then joined the Cumbrians on loan in March 2006, making the switch permanent that summer.
His opportunities were limited at Brunton Park and he spent spells on loan at Blue Square Premier clubs Barrow and Northwich last season.
Joyce had a number of suitors over the summer but will now join Stanley's squad for the start of pre-season training on Monday.
