Accrington manager John Coleman has been boosted ahead of his side's Lancashire derby with Morecambe. Midfielders Ray Putterill and Andy Parkinson has both put pen to paper on new deals until the end of the season after their current contracts were due to run out at the end of January. Both players will be in the Stanley squad to play The Shrimps on Tuesday and assistant manager Jimmy Bell told the club's official website, "Both players deserve extensions. They've shown no signs of those previous injuries and fully deserve to stay until the end. Both of them are good in around the place." Coleman has no new injury or suspension worries after Saturday's fixture against Crewe was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
