Stanley boss happy with a point

Coleman was unhappy with the two goals his team "gifted" Vale, who scored courtesy of strikes from Louis Dodds and Tommy Fraser. But a penalty from Phil Edwards in the 82nd minute and Proctor's leveller in injury time earned Stanley a share of the spoils. He said: "They were sloppy goals which came from long throws and we should be able to deal with situations like that. "We've worked hard at our defending, but we are going to have to work a bit harder because you shouldn't have to score three goals to win away from home. "Having said that, I would have bitten your hand off for a point before Procter scored. I have to give the lads a lot of credit for the spirit and determination they showed. That is something I can't question. "Phil Edwards should have scored a winner in stoppage time and that wouldn't have flattered us. We have the talent to be one of the best teams in this league, but we have to be consistent and cut out silly mistakes."
