Stanley boss facing further cuts

Stanley's annual wage bill of £900,000 is reportedly thought to be the lowest in the Football League and chairman Eric Whalley admits the new season could prove a tough task for Coleman. Whalley, who will leave if and when the prospective takeover of the club goes through, told the Lancashire Telegraph: "They've got the budget now and it's 25 per cent down. "They won't like it but it was inevitable. If anyone thinks the club has got a magic wand, it's just not there." Meanwhile, county council representatives are set to inspect the new seating at the Fraser Eagle Stadium with Stanley working to get the 2,000 seats needed to retain their Football League status.
