Stanley boss backed for award

Stanley have recorded their finest sequence of Football League results in 51 years during March, to dispel any lingering relegation fears. Last weekend's goalless draw at Rotherham ensured Stanley finished the month with a record of four wins and two draws from seven games, and Murdock feels Coleman's achievements should be acknowledged. "Having not lost a game in six matches and with the team playing especially well, I think he does deserve that accolade," Murdock told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph. "It would be nice for him to get some recognition for his efforts here."
