Ryan ruled out of Lancashire derby
It was feared the former Liverpool trainee had fractured his leg in Tuesday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory at Oldham.[LNB]But it was later revealed he had suffered a gashed leg and no break, however, he will not feature against the Shakers.[LNB]Luke Joyce is expected to keep his place in midfield despite being replaced by Ryan against the Latics and Sean McConville is pushing for a start.[LNB]On-loan defender Tom Lees will make his first start in the league after making his debut against Oldham following his move from Leeds.[LNB]Experienced midfielder John Mullin will not feature as he remains sidelined with an ankle injury, while goalkeeper Alan Martin is away with the Scotland Under-21 squad.[LNB][LNB]
