Ryan ready for Rotherham

Jimmy Ryan should be fit for Accrington`s trip to Rotherham. The midfielder was forced off against Stevenage six days ago with a hamstring problem. He was battling to be in the squad to face Southend on Saturday but the postponement of that game has given him extra time to recover and increased his chances of being involved. However, Ryan may find himself on the bench after assistant manager Jimmy Bell admitted he did not enjoy the best of games against Stevenage. If Ryan is left out, the likes of Andy Parkinson, Chris Turner, Rory Boulding and Ray Putterill will fight it out to replace him in the starting line-up. Kevin Long, who is recovering from a broken toe, remains the only absentee.
