Putterill banned
Accrington will again be without midfielder Ray Putterill for the long trip down to in-form Torquay.
Putterill is serving a 42-day ban handed down by the Liverpool County FA and could face further sanctions after he played against Tranmere in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy a day after the ban started.
Charlie Barnett is expected to continue in midfield as John Coleman`s side look to be the first winners at Plainmoor this season.
Terry Gornell is fit to continue up front but fellow striker Craig Lindfield has been struggling with a knee injury and will be handed a late fitness test.
Defender Sean Hessey is also an injury concern as he is struggling with a knock.
