Procter unhappy with point
Accrington captain Andy Procter has admitted his disappointment at not coming away with all three points against league leaders Torquay.
Stanley recorded their fourth successive draw and fourth goalless stalemate of the season at Plainmoor but could easily have emerged triumphant if not for Gulls keeper Scott Bevan.
The stopper made a host of impressive saves to deny John Coleman`s side, most notably from Procter himself who saw his powerful downward header in stoppage time kept out by a stunning reflex reaction.
The midfielder told Accrington's official website: "I know the gaffer said he was happy with a point but I thought we definitely did enough to win the game to be honest. Their keeper got man of the match and that says it all really.
"I read in the paper that we had 70% of the possession, which suggests we dominated.
"I've been here for a long time now and have seen some noticeable differences this season. We've got four lads at the back who are all comfortable on the ball and all prepared to get it off the keeper. I think that's helped us an awful lot because it provides us in midfield with the chance to get on it. The way we've set up this season with two sitting midfielders has helped us to play as well."
