Mullin off Stanley transfer list

The 35-year-old was placed on the list towards the end of last season as the club looked to restructure its finances. But following a summer of change at the Fraser Eagle Stadium, the club have now moved to reverse their decision. "Paul was put on the transfer list purely for financial reasons as we looked to restructure our wage bill," said chief executive Rob Heys. "However, although there has been some interest, there was nothing that was anywhere near a deal that would have been right for both Paul and the club. "We said last May that although we had made him available for transfer he was still very much an Accrington Stanley player with a year remaining on his contract, and as we start the new season the time is right for us to confirm this by taking him off the list."
