Mixed loan news for Stanley ahead of Shakers clash

Accrington manager John Coleman has extended the loan stay of Joe Jacobson ahead of his side`s clash against Bury but has had no such luck with Ian Craney. Stanley welcome the League Two high-flyers to the Crown Ground with Jacobson`s future secure after an agreement was made with parent club Oldham to prolong the defender`s stay until January 29, with a view to another extension until the end of the season. But midfielder Craney - a crowd favourite - misses out after Coleman was unable to strike a deal with non-league Fleetwood in time. Coleman has indicated he will make changes for Saturday`s outing after throwing away a two-goal lead against Chesterfield on Monday. The 2-2 draw left the boss frustrated and quartet Leam Richardson, Sean Hessey, Ray Putterill and Luke Joyce will hope for recalls. Winger Chris Turner misses out but is looking to return to training next week after a scan on his ankle revealed swelling and bone bruising.
