Long wait for Stanley

Accrington face an anxious wait over Kevin Long's injury ahead of the visit of Shrewsbury. The on-loan Burnley defender was forced off with an ankle injury in Stanley's 2-1 win at Cheltenham. Manager John Coleman said: "His ankle doesn't look too good. My concern is getting Kevin the best treatment." Sean Hessey came off the bench for his first appearance in a month for Stanley and could be Long's replacement in defence. Defender Leam Richardson returned to full fitness after 18 months plagued by hip and groin injuries to score a volley past the Robins and should keep his place. Winger Chris Turner could be in contention for his first appearance since November after recovering from an ankle injury. Accrington won back to back games for the first time this season and leading scorer Terry Gornell could be the key to a third consecutive win.
