Hard times ahead for Accrington
The Reds are expected to have the lowest wage bill in the Football League after their playing budget was reduced by 25%.
Assistant manager Jimmy Bell told the Lancashire Telegraph: "It comes down to financies. With the budget we have it's really difficult.
"The first thing players want to know is how much money we can offer them.
"A lot of them will look elsewhere, but maybe come back to you, or maybe not."
