Gornell in frame for second debut

New signing Terry Gornell is included in Accrington's squad for their trip to Oxford. The 20-year-old striker joined Stanley on a free transfer from Tranmere on Friday and could be in line for his second debut, having played for the Lancashire club in a loan spell two seasons ago. Accrington boss John Coleman has no new injury worries to contend with. Leam Richardson has recovered from a long-term injury lay-off and will be pushing for a starting place after being an unused substitute for the defeat against Newcastle in the Carling Cup on Wednesday night. Striker Rory Boulding similarly missed out on the action against Chris Hughton's men, dropped to the bench as his recovery from an Achilles problem continues, although he could be in line for a return to the starting line-up. Fellow striker Craig Linfield has been struggling with an ongoing knee complaint, but he is also set to feature in Coleman's squad.
