Duo would relish Rovers chance

The Liverpool-born duo - who will enter their testimonial year during the 2009/10 campaign - spearheaded the Reds' meteoric rise through the footballing pyramid with three promotions in six years and helped the club clinch promotion back to the Football League in 2006. Both Coleman and Bell do not hold contracts at Accrington and would be free to leave without compensation being paid to the Lancashire outfit should Rovers decide to pursue their interest in the pair. Moore was sacked by the Birkenhead club on Friday afternoon following the club's failure to reach the League One play-offs last season. Bell said: "It is nice to be linked to a job in a higher league and we would be interested if we were to be approached by Tranmere. "It is a big career stepping stone for myself and John but it is just speculation at the moment and we still have a job to do here at Accrington."
