Craney makes Stanley return

Accrington boss John Coleman has brought Ian Craney back to the club after signing him on loan from Fleetwood Town until January 3. Craney, 28, is a hugely popular figure at Stanley after making over 150 appearances and scoring nearly 50 goals for the club in two separate spells. "I am delighted to be coming back," said Craney. "The move has come out of nowhere but I have been keen to come back into the Football League. "It's nice to get back to what you know and I have always enjoyed playing under John Coleman and Jimmy Bell." Craney is unable to go into the squad for Friday's FA Cup tie at Port Vale as he played for Fleetwood in an earlier round.
