Manager John Coleman saluted Accrington`s impressive display as they saw off Hereford 4-0 and then called upon his side to give it their all over their remaining eight games in a bid to claim a play-off spot. Stanley`s dominant triumph over the Bulls at the Crown Ground moved them to within three points of fifth-placed Stevenage while they have a game in hand on each of the five clubs above them in the play-off race. Terry Gornell started and rounded off the scoring, with Jimmy Ryan and a spectacular finish from Sean McConville in quick succession before the break effectively settling the game as a contest. Coleman said: "We were smashing. I was really pleased with the show as we kept going right until the end. We started off on the front foot and took our chances. "We have competition all over now and have a really good squad here. You won't see a better goal than Sean McConville's in League Two this season and that will live with him a long time. "We have eight games left and it is going to be difficult. You can call them cup finals or Grand National hurdles but all we can do is hang in there and give it our best shot."
