Accrington have confirmed that contract talks with boss John Coleman and assistant Jimmy Bell are well under way and that an announcement on the future of the duo will be made at the end of the week. Coleman, who has refused to rule himself out of taking the vacant managerial position at Lincoln, and Bell agreed terms on new three-and-a-half year deals some time ago but have yet to put pen to paper. A statement on Stanley's official website said: "Negotiations with manager John Coleman and his assistant Jimmy Bell over a new deal to keep them at the Crown Ground are well under way. "The duo have been at the helm for the past 12 years and the club feel they deserve to be rewarded for their service. "An announcement regarding the pair will be made before the end of the week." Accrington Chief Executive Rob Heys added: "We've been talking about sorting something out this week and things are going very well."
