Coleman keen to defy the critics

The bookmakers have the Reds as favourites for relegation from League Two but they chalked up their first win of the season on Saturday thanks to Darran Kempson's 50th-minute winner. "We have got a lot of belief at this club and the players are super fit and we are determined to prove a lot of people wrong," said Coleman. "A lot have written us off already this season and there is nothing better than when people expect you to fall, you don't do it." Coleman praised his side's display but admitted the last 10 minutes were agony as Accrington held on to their one-goal advantage. "It doesn't do my heart - or my head - any good but I will settle for 1-0 every game," added the Reds boss. "We did panic a bit in the last 10 minutes and we had a couple of chances to kill the game off and we didn't take them. We played well and defended magnificently."
