Coleman keen on Stanley victory
Goals from Robbie Williams and Andrew Proctor late in each half sealed the vital three points and gave themselves some breathing space at the bottom of the league.
Coleman said: "I'm delighted with the performance. Macclesfield is always a very difficult place to come and play and they've had some very good results recently.
"Make no mistake we're in the thick of a relegation battle but we responded well to the challenge."
"I told the players before the game that they had their own destiny in their own hands and that's how they played," he added.
