Coleman: I knew we were good enough

Manager John Coleman claims he always knew Accrington were good enough to reach the npower League Two play-offs. Stanley secured a top-seven spot on Saturday after Jimmy Ryan struck a hat-trick in the 3-1 victory over Barnet. "I think we were good enough to go up automatically this season, but it's not to be so we'll have to give it our best shot in the play-offs," Coleman told the Lancashire Telegraph. "I always believed we could get 72 points, that was the target we set. All credit to the players, they've performed really well. The style of play we're playing has taken people by surprise this season. "But we haven't achieved anything yet. We've made the play-offs and we've got to be proud of the way we've performed this season, but we'll see where that takes us. "I won't let them do too much celebrating until there's something to celebrate."
