Coleman bemoans Stanley's shoddy shooters

Accrington manager John Coleman was left to rue his side's profligacy after the goalless draw at Lincoln and warned that further wastefulness may well undermine the final stages of their campaign. Stanley spurned several good opportunities to take the points on a Sincil Bank playing surface that made life difficult for both teams. "In a way it feels like a defeat," said Coleman. "We had seven good chances and we missed the target. "You've got to be winning games when you are in form. Our keeper had only one save to make. "We showed why we could be top of the league and why we are not top of the league. You have to be here to believe it. Some of the chances we missed were ridiculous. "If we continue to finish like we did then we will end up in mid-table mediocrity."
