The former Sunderland man suffered ankle problems towards the end of a successful first season with Stanley and said that he would have to assess his fitness during pre-season before confirming playing another campaign.[LNB]Bell expects Mullin to carry on for one more season at least, although he conceded that the 33-year-old will not hesitate to retire if he thinks it is in his best interests.[LNB]"If he feels he's not up to it, he'll walk away and go and do something else," Bell told the Lancashire Telegraph.[LNB]"But he played more games than I expected last season. I think he played around 30 league games, even though he'd had injuries in the last two or three years, so I'm optimistic we can get another good 12 months out of him."[LNB][LNB]
