Stanley wait on Webber

Accrington hope Danny Webber can overcome illness in time to feature for their home clash with York.

The former Manchester United trainee missed the last-gasp weekend win over Mansfield when Stanley scored twice in the final minute to clinch a dramatic 3-2 win, but was well enough to attend the squad's trip to a hospital children's ward on Monday.

Defender Rob Atkinson was back in the squad at Field Mill following a hamstring injury and both he and goalkeeper Andrew Dawber (groin) are now considered fit enough to feature.

Webber's return would give boss James Beattie a fully-fit squad to select from as he bids to put more distance between his side and the bottom two in the Sky Bet League Two table.

York striker Ryan Bowman will return to contention following suspension.

Bowman, who served a four-game ban following his second dismissal of the season in last month's defeat at Southend, but may have to settle for a place on the bench, with Wes Fletcher and Ryan Jarvis likely to start up front.

Goalkeeper Michael Ingham returned to the bench for Saturday's home draw with Oxford following a hip injury and boss Nigel Worthington must decide whether to recall him or stick with Aaron McCarey, on loan from Wolves.

Defenders Chris Smith (ankle) and Dan Parslow (knee) both remain sidelined as the Minstermen chase their first league win in eight.
