Schofield ineligible against Millers

Accrington midfielder Danny Schofield is ineligible for the game against parent-club Rotherham.

The 32-year-old loanee has made seven appearances from Stanley since making the temporary switch to the Crown Ground but will not feature against the Millers.

Watford loanee Piero Mingoia is available to manager Leam Richardson as he has made a full recovering from injury.

Rob Atkinson will keep his place in the heart of Richardson's defence after extending his loan from Fleetwood for a third month.

Fellow defender Peter Murphy was rested for the 1-1 draw with Gillingham, but is expected to earn a recall to Richardson's squad after his manager admitted it was a difficult decision to make.

Padraig Amond will be pushing for a starting place after winning the Reds' equalising penalty within a minute of coming off the bench to replace Lee Molyneux against Martin Allen's side.

Rotherham will hope to have Lee Frecklington and Kieran Agard available.

Frecklington missed Saturday's win at Exeter after a back spasm while Agard has been sidelined for three weeks with a thigh problem, but both men will be assessed on Tuesday morning.

But that is the only piece of good news for boss Steve Evans on the injury front as he continues to battle with a lengthy list of absentees.

Lionel Ainsworth, Kari Arnason (both shoulder), Dale Tonge (ankle/knee), Scott Shearer (knee), Craig Morgan (leg) and David Noble (hamstring) remain holed up in the treatment room.

Mitchell Rose is suspended after his third senior appearance ended in dismissal for a reckless tackle in the West Country and he now sits out three games.

The Millers' original trip to the Crown Ground in October was postponed 10 minutes before kick-off after a heavy downpour.
