Windass family split for Cup tie

Accrington have no fresh injury concerns for their Capital One Cup clash with Sky Bet Championship side Hull.

Striker Josh Windass, who scored from the penalty spot in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Luton, will hope to get one over on dad Dean, who is a Tigers legend and currently club ambassador.

Boss John Coleman is unlikely to make too many changes to his line-up, although Anthony Barry, Billy Kee and Joe Wright could all feature more prominently after coming off the bench at the weekend.

Goalkeeper Jason Mooney and defensive duo Tom Davies and Matty Pearson made their debuts against the Hatters and should keep their places.

Hull boss Steve Bruce has no new fitness issues but is likely to make changes after seeing his side mark their return to the second tier with a 2-0 win over Huddersfield.

New signing Moses Odubajo has been cleared to make his debut after arriving from Brentford, but striker Abel Hernandez serves the second game of a three-match ban.

Defender Harry Maguire, midfielder David Meyler and striker Sone Aluko all missed out the starting XI at the weekend and will be hoping for a chance to catch the eye.

Greg Luer was handed a first ever appearance after coming off the bench against the Terriers and will be eager for more.
