Three players missing for Accrington against Exeter

Accrington look set to be without a trio of players for Saturday's League Two home clash against Exeter.

Terry Gornell definitely misses out due to the groin injury that forced him off early at Barnet last weekend and is expected to keep him out for around three weeks.

It is anticipated the Exeter match will also come too soon for fellow front man Shay McCartan.

And the same applies to midfielder Scott Brown, who, like McCartan, has been nursing an unspecified injury.

Troy Brown should be able to lend his experience to Exeter as the bottom-placed Grecians seek to put their first points on the board.

Central defender Brown has not featured since suffering a thigh injury in the opening-day defeat at Blackpool, but he made the bench against Crawley in midweek.

Lee Holmes faces up to four weeks on the sidelines with a foot injury, although scans have proved inconclusive and Exeter boss Paul Tisdale fears the midfielder could be out for even longer.

Winger Joel Grant has returned to training following a calf problem and could be named in the matchday squad for the first time this season.
