Wilson set for Stanley bow

Laurence Wilson is in line to make his Accrington debut when Dagenham visit the Crown Ground in npower League Two.

Former Morecambe left-back Wilson penned a deal until the end of the season with Stanley on Thursday having been released by Rotherham earlier this term.

Reds boss Leam Richardson also added another former Miller, Nicky Hunt, to his backline earlier this week and his defence will be further boosted by the return of Toto Nsiala against the Daggers.

Former Everton youngster Nsiala was forced to sit out the last two matches having collected 10 yellow cards this season.

Stanley are working to extend the loan of Bury goalkeeper Cameron Belford after fellow keeper Paul Rachubka returned to Leeds in light of his current suspension.

Youth team stopper Andrew Dawber is waiting in the wings with regular number one Ian Dunbavin (shoulder) out for the season.

The New Year's Day victory over Chesterfield and former boss Paul Cook ended a run of two points from seven League Two matches.

Dagenham boast a fully-fit squad aiming to bounce back after three successive defeats over the festive period.

Manager John Still has no injury or suspension problems to contend with, a rare luxury at this stage of the season after a hectic schedule over the festive period.

But the Daggers' recent struggles means one or two changes could well be on the cards.

Brian Woodall, the club's leading scorer last season, is pushing for a recall in attack and young forward Jake Reed, who on Thursday penned a new contract, could well make way.

Midfielders Kevin Maher and Billy Bingham also come into contention against an Accrington side who claimed their first league win in eight attempts on New Year's Day.
