Rossoneri claim Ron deal

12 Apr 2008 - 13:52:47

AC Milan claim to have agreed initial terms with Brazilian ace Ronaldinho, who seems certain to leave Barcelona next summer.

The 28-year-old South American has endured a tough campaign at the Camp Nou and has recently been linked with a number of top clubs across the continent.

However, the Rossoneri claim to be close to sealing a deal reported to be worth around 30million euros.

Ronaldinho's agent, Roberto de Assis, told the Gazzetta dello Sport: "In general, Ronaldinho and Milan are in agreement."

Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani added: "There is a general agreement with the player. Now a deal has to be reached with Barcelona."

However, the story took another twist with Internazionale president Massimo Moratti claiming that his club are also in the hunt for Ronaldinho.

He told the Corriere dello Sport: "I would like to say something about Ronaldinho. The player and Barcelona will not move a muscle before hearing our proposal.

"What will we do? We have taken some time out to evaluate various situations. In the meantime, though, we are receiving unequivocal signs of interest."
