    Rossoneri agree Ibrahimovic loan

    29 Aug 2010 - 13:33:08

Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic has agreed a season-long loan switch from Barcelona to AC Milan.

The Rossoneri have the option to make the move permanent in 12 months' time after the two clubs agreed a fee in the region of £20million for the 28-year-old.

"We have agreed a deal for a season's loan and then the right to buy," Milan said in a statement, while Barcelona confirmed: "The deal was done thanks to the collaboration of the player and willingness of his agent."

Ibrahimovic only moved from Inter Milan to the Nou Camp last year in a swap deal involving Samuel Eto'o but, despite scoring 21 goals in 41 games for Barca, failed to impress for the 2009 Champions League winners.

After playing the first 45 minutes of a friendly between Barcelona and Milan at the Nou Camp last week, Ibrahimovic had said: "I haven't spoken to (Barca coach Pep) Guardiola for six months.

"I do not know the reason for this but there are certainly problems. As for Milan, for now, I do not know anything about a possible move, so I will remain a Barcelona player but I would like to play alongside a player such as Ronaldinho."
