No Milan move for Mertesacker

Per Mertesacker's agent has scotched reports of a summer move for his client to AC Milan.
The Werder Bremen and Germany defender has been mentioned as a possible 10million euro target for the Rossoneri, but agent Guido Nikolai has hinted that Mertesacker will remain at the Weserstadion.
"The rumours on Milan? We don't comment on rumours. If there was something true, then I would certainly not be telling the press," he said.
"What I can say is that the player has a contract with Werder until 2012."
