Milan given Adiyiah green light

AC Milan have been given the green light to sign Dominic Adiyiah after the Ghanaian starlet was granted a work permit to join the Italian club.

The Under-20 World Cup top-scorer had agreed terms to join the Rossoneri from Norwegian side Fredrikstad last year, but was forced to wait for a work permit hearing before discovering whether he would be allowed to make the move.

"This is a new journey for me and I am going out there to do my very best for Milan," declared the 20-year-old striker.

"I know this will have a bearing on my national team prospects and I know the only solution is hard work.

"I am going to work in full force and full determination to be successful. I am confident I will succeed."
