Leonardo: Milan can win title

AC Milan coach Leonardo fully expects his team to challenge for the Scudetto this season despite losing star player Kaka.

The Brazil midfielder has left the Rossoneri for Real Madrid this summer while coach Carlo Ancelotti has also moved on from the San Siro.

But despite the massive changes which have occurred since the last campaign, Leonardo insists that winning the Serie A title remains the priority and claims there is no lessening in Milan's expectations.

"I think that Milan is always one of those that must aim for the Scudetto, this is our DNA," said the Brazilian coach.

"For those that are here, it is normal we go in that direction because that is the will inside of us.

"I think we will have to become champions this year to demonstrate what we are capable of."
