AC Milan star Kaka expects to resume training in around two weeks as he continues his recovery from knee surgery.
The 26-year-old Brazilian went under the knife to correct a long-running knee problem at the end of the Serie A season.
But despite rumours that he may miss the start of the new season, Kaka has revealed that he expects to be back in action sooner rather than later.
He said: "I am well and the knee is okay.
"I'm doing physiotherapy, the body is reacting well and I will be ready to return in around 15 days."
Meanwhile, injured Milan striker Ronaldo is also positive about his own return from potential career-threatening knee ligament damage suffered back in February.
"The knee is doing very well," said the veteran former Real Madrid and Internazionale striker. "Now we are starting to do work on muscle strengthening, and on the exercise bike.
"In around two or three weeks, I will begin running. For that reason, things are very good."
