Huntelaar rubbishes exit talk

AC Milan striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has denied reports that he is desperate to end his so far unhappy spell in Italy.

The Netherlands striker has struggled to hold down a first-team place following his 15million euro move to the San Siro from Real Madrid in January.

"It wouldn't be reasonable to go back to the team I left less than a year ago," said the former Ajax striker, who also struggled for starts in Madrid.

"Training sessions went well last week and (coach) Leonardo has told me to stay patient.

"We are still in November and the season has just started. I was penalised by the fact the team were not playing well.

"But now things are going well. And it means I did not make a mistake in coming here."
