Galliani urges Nesta U-turn

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani hopes that veteran defender Alessandro Nesta will reconsider his decision to retire from international football ahead of this summer's World Cup finals.
He has also backed AS Roma talisman Francesco Totti to make the plane to South Africa with the rest of Marcello Lippi's team.
"I spoke with Alessandro, but we will not pressure him. He is free to do what he wants," Galliani told Teleradiostereo.
"As an Italy fan I hope that he will go to the World Cup because Nesta and Totti would help Lippi.
"Totti is a great champion who has had an extraordinary career. I hope he goes to South Africa."
