Galliani tips Milan for Scudetto

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists the Rossoneri can still clinch this season's Serie A title even though they currently trail leaders and city rivals Internazionale by four points.

Leonardo's side slumped to a 4-0 defeat at Manchester United in an embarrassingly one-sided Champions League encounter on Wednesday to exit the competition on a 7-2 aggregate scoreline.

However, Galliani remains upbeat about Milan's prospects in the last two months of the season, comparing their situation to six years ago when they were beaten in Europe's top competition by Deportivo La Coruna before going on to win the domestic title.

"Now you will see that it will be like what happened after La Coruna, we will win the Scudetto," he said.
