David Beckham has confirmed that he fully intends to return to AC Milan for a second loan spell in January.
The 34-year-old former England captain spent the second half of the last Serie A season with the Rossoneri on loan from LA Galaxy and is keen to return to Italy.
Beckham has been told he must continue to play top-level European football if he is to keep his place in the England squad for next summer's World Cup finals.
"It's simple. I want to return to Milan and Milan have said they would be happy to have me back," Beckham told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"If it's all right with Milan and it's all right with me, I don't see what problems there could be.
"No, I don't think there'll be any problems and I think I'll return when the transfer market reopens in January."
