AC Milan midfielder Massimo Ambrosini is staying at the San Siro, according to his agent.
Earlier in the season, Ambrosini had cast doubt on his future with the Rossoneri after growing frustrated at a lack of new contract talks and had been linked with a move to Fiorentina.
However, the situation has now improved, according to agent Moreno Roggi, who told Radio Blu: "I'm pretty sure that Max will renew with Milan once again.
"I believe that the Rossoneri will not let go of a player like him. It's true that his contract was short, but every time we find the conditions to renew it.
"I don't think his transfer to Fiorentina this summer is plausible, the conditions do not exist."
Ambrosini, who has made over 350 appearances in his 14 years with the club, is contracted to Milan until the end of next season.
