AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati is not heading to Fiorentina next month, according to the player's agent.
The 32-year-old has not featured for the Rossoneri this season, but is content to stay put at the San Siro and fight for his future.
Claudio Vigorelli told the Italian media: "Christian will remain in Milan. He is working really hard to get back to his best.
"The start of the New Year will be very important. Fiorentina already have a very strong goalkeeper and so I don't think they will be asking for another one.
"I think it's a journalistic invention."
