Abbiati still believes in Scudetto

AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati still believes the club can win the Serie A title, despite losing to Parma on Wednesday evening.

The Rossoneri fell to a 1-0 defeat and now trail leaders and city rivals Internazionale by four points with eight games remaining ahead of their weekend clash against Lazio.

He admitted Parma were the better side but the stopper is adamant that they have enough in their squad to force the issue and land the honours this term.

Speaking to reporters, he said: "They attacked us and we were unable to play our football. It went wrong today.

"But we must still believe in it. Let's focus on Lazio now even though we will have a few suspended players.

"We will miss crucial players such as [Andrea] Pirlo and Ronaldinho, but we'll have a strong desire. We must never give up, the race is still open."
